Whether you’re buying your first home, moving, remortgaging or simply trying to understand what may be possible, I’ll take the time to understand your circumstances, explain your options clearly and help you through the mortgage process from start to finish.
Mortgage advice is free. There’s no charge for having an initial conversation or receiving mortgage advice from me.

How I Can Help
No two mortgage applications are exactly the same.
Rather than starting with a mortgage product, I start by understanding what you’re trying to achieve, how your income works, what commitments you have and what sort of monthly payment feels comfortable.
From there, I can help you understand the mortgage options that may be suitable for your circumstances.
First-Time Buyers
Buying your first home is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. I can help you understand how much you may be able to borrow, how much deposit you may need, what documents lenders usually ask for and what happens during the mortgage application process.
Remortgages
If your current mortgage deal is coming to an end, it may be worth reviewing your options early. I can help you understand whether a remortgage, product transfer or another route may be suitable based on your circumstances.
Home Movers
If you are moving home, I can help you understand your borrowing position, whether you may be able to port your existing mortgage and what your next mortgage could look like.
Self Employed
Being self-employed doesn’t automatically make getting a mortgage difficult. As someone who is self-employed and a company director myself, I understand first-hand why finding the right lender and presenting the application properly can matter.
Additional Borrowing
Thinking about raising additional funds against your home? Whether you’re considering home improvements or another permitted purpose, I can help you understand what additional borrowing options may be available and what they could mean for your overall mortgage.
Mortgage Protection
A mortgage is a major financial commitment, so it is important to think about how you and your family would manage if life changed unexpectedly. Where appropriate, I can help you understand protection options such as life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection, alongside your mortgage advice.

Yes. There is no charge for having an initial conversation or receiving mortgage advice from me. It's my job to provide you with mortgage and protection advice, which is why you can ask me as many questions as you like.
Do You Charge A Broker Fee?
Yes, I charge a broker fee. If you decide to use me as your mortgage broker, you will be charged upon completion of a mortgage application. I charge £295 for a product transfer, £395 for remortgages, and £495 for residential mortgages. I do not charge a broker fee for any protection products.
Can You Help If I'm Self-Employed
Yes. I help sole traders, company directors, contractors, and other self-employed applicants understand how lenders may assess their income and which mortgage options may suit their circumstances.
Do I Need To Have Found A Property Before Contacting You?
No. Speaking to a mortgage broker beforehand can help you understand your potential borrowing and property budget before you start making offers.
Can You Help Me If I Don't Live In Manchester Or Cheshire?
Yes. My service is completely remote, so I can help clients throughout the UK.
How Much Can I Borrow?
There isn't one universal answer. It can depend on your income, deposit, existing commitments, dependents, mortgage term, and lender criteria. I can look at your actual circumstances and give you a much clearer idea of what may be realistic.
How Early Should I Review My Remortgage?
It can be worth starting several months before your existing mortgage product ends so you have time to understand your options.
Do You Also Offer Protection Advice?
Yes. I can help you consider life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection, alongside your mortgage needs.
